Pind Makko is a village situated on the western side of the district Mandi Bahauddin.〔Mandi Bahauddin〕〔http://pak.postcodebase.com/node/7874〕 It is relatively larger village in terms of area as compared to other villages in its surroundings. The total population lies within the range of 7000-10000 approximately. The former name of the village is Makko Dudhi. Makko is the name of a person who owned the village and hence the village was named after him.With time,the village got the name "Pind Makko". The village is popular because of its active participation in district politics. It is between Miana Gondal and Miani.〔Miani, Punjab〕 A railway station is also present.
